The 2nd International Dry Toilet Conference was held in Tampere, Finland,
on August 16 -19, 2006.

The purpose of the DT2006 was to continue the progress achieved by the previous conference DT2003. The objectives of the conference were to offer a discussion platform for professionals and other interested parties and to distribute the latest information about various aspects of dry toilets.

The Conference was organised by The Global Dry Toilet Club of Finland, Tampere Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University of Technology

The conference was attended by 140 participants from 34 countries. We thank all the participants for making a successful conference! Material of the conference will be out soon.
